 500 g butter
 12 tbsp sugar
 395 g can condensed milk
 5 cups self raising flour
 1 ¼ tsp Bake Aid or 5/8 teaspoon Relief
 ingredients for variation of your choice e.g choc chips, cranberries, macadamia nuts, sultanas

Preheat oven to 180℃.

In a stand mixer or food processor mix together butter, sugar, condensed milk and Bake Aid or Relief until combined.

Add flour and mix to form a dough.

Add nuts, fruit, cocoa etc and stir through. If making more than one type of biscuit divide the mixture into separate bowls and stir through the variations.

Roll teaspoons full of mixture into balls and place on baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten with the back of a fork.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and place on cooling rack.

Make assorted biscuits of your choice by adding different ingredients: coconut, chocolate chips, cranberries, macadamia nuts, sultanas, cocoa, dried apricots.

For jam drops: place balls of dough on tray, flatten slightly and use the back of a spoon to make an indent and then fill with jam of your choice.

For cornflake biscuits: Roll the balls in "gluten free" cornflakes before flattening and baking.
